Simona Buna is an award-winning artist based in Indiana. She was born in Romania and came to the US in 2003. From a very early age she was attracted to the art of drawing and tried oil painting under her father's supervision. After ten years of professional photography, she decided to go back to her first love, oil painting, and the last five years she dedicated herself to perfecting her skills for figure painting, portraits and flowers. Her artwork is influenced by her workshop teachers, Pamela Newell, John Michael Carter, Stephanie Spay, Max Ginsburg and Daniel Gerhartz.
